THE SCENT IDENTITY

The perfume of an environment as well as a personal perfume both express something unique:

The olfactory memory impresses in the mind odors that can never be modified, affects emotions and memories, binds us to people, objects, places you will never lose track of.
Scent Company has created a fragrance for The Ritz – Carlton Tokyo, taking inspiration from its Italian heritage (Italy has been and is the largest “laboratory of creativity” in the world) to the identity of a country (Japan) and to one of the brands most important of luxury hospitality (The Ritz-Carlton).
GREEN CITRUS SIGNATURE SCENT
The signature scent offers a sophisticated olfactory pyramid with notes such as Green lemon, Bergamot, Thyme, Eucalyptus. A whiff of perfume that you notice immediately, made of Jasmine, Rose, Violet, Lavender as heart notes, that leave a longer-lasting trail. White Musk, Heliotrope, Cedarwood as bottom notes that give the perfume its full personality.
The Green Citrus transports you to fields of bergamots of Calabria and to the ancient Sicilian lemon groves. Then the small, white, waxy blossoms of Jasmine, the most glorious scent, transports you in a starry and romantic summer evening, as if you were walking alongside a flowering shrub.

CRYSTAL BAMBOO AND ROSE PETALS
We are happy to have built a relationship of trust with the client and to have gone beyond the construction of the hotel’s olfactory identity. We had the possibility to differentiate the ambient fragrances for specific areas of the structure.
In particular, it was really a creative process to design a fragrance for the SPA to give guests a mood of well-being and contact with their spirituality. The SPA space is scented with the ambient fragrance Crystal Bamboo.
In addition, the hotel has a chapel that is used in particular for the organization of weddings. We studied a fragrance made-to-measure for this space that has the name of “Rose Petals” and that recalls femininity, the beauty of the bride and one of her most important days.

The signature scent Green Citrus is diffused in stretegic areas of The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo through hidden high-tech scent diffusers, made by Scent Company with an exclusive technology and a remote control system.
THE SCENTED COLLECTION
To incorporate the signature scent of the hotel into tailored branded scented products is a way to extend the olfactory branding project and to have a full branding approach; but above all it is really a creative way the hotel tells its story. Scented products are used to scent single private rooms, but they can also be bought by guests at the end of their journey. The signature scent will be soon incorporated into an elegant branded room spray, made with the utmost care and attention to detail.
